It was a good day. Got a speedrun pb on nsb2 of 29:21. I beat it now with a 28:45, tying me for 69th in the world out of 256. Nice.

Ah, alr. NSMB2 is one of the few mainline Mario games I haven’t even tried; I don’t have a 3DS. Congrats though!

Looking at the leaderboards, there’s an uncharacteristically high number of runs with no video. Is there a reason for this, and how do the mods know the run is legit?

For some reason, speedrun.com was in a state where many games didn’t require video, including world records. If you look at the forum you can see me, (F5Gabe) but also a thread where they talk the history of video requirements. Now all runs require video, but the runs from long enough ago weren’t touched. Thankfully the wr has one.
