For both of them, I took them all the way apart and cleaned them, then I lubed the 4x4 with dnm-37 and a bit of weight 1 on the tracks. For the 7x7 I just put DNM. I recommend taking the time to clean it all the way, because it adds a lot of speed.
Just a side note, I don't main the MGC 4x4 anymore because it was to slow for me. If you are ever in the market for a faster 4x4, I recommend the Aosu gts 2

Huh. I think I thought you used the MGC 4x4. I thought I remember seeing it in your mains and goals vid. Maybe I thought you said MGC, but you actually said Gts2.
anyway, thanks for the advice. I could try an angstrom set-up for the 7x7, but use a lot less Gravitas and a little Dignitas.

Aosu GTS 2 is overrated.

I don't think angstrom is very good with cubes bigger than 4x4. And I did use the MGC until yesterday. I bought a preowned gts a few months ago, and it is already broken in and everything. As far as it being overrated, the majority of people don't think it is very good, so I don't really see your point @TheCubingCuber347

Alright, my ears didn't deceive me after all. Now I see why you say you use the Aosu. If I had a cube that was broken in and set-up to be faster than a MGC, then I would totally use that cube, too.

Also, @TheCubingCuber347, I think you say the Aosu is overated because it's ancient. I am not sure on your experiences with it, but yeah. Cube master thinks the Aosu is very good, a little faster than the Wrm, but then you have the trade-off of the wrm being very smooth, smoother than the aosu. (Double post because what I typed originally exceeded 420 words)

It's not that old and it is in fact my main, so I have quite a bit of experience with it. Does that mean I like it? No, it's just not that good. At one point I could see it as the best on the market but now you have better options. The cube has a strange feeling that makes it feel bad and center twists happen all the time unless you have it tight enough in a way to restricts corner cutting.

It's a decent speed but it doesn't have an enjoyable feel. Also, why in the world would I care what Cube Master thinks? That means nothing to me, you might as well be saying "Well, Jperm s a i d" and I don't care at all what some youtubers says. Go off of your experience, don't tell me about someone who makes videos.

@CubableYT if you're comparing it to the attention that the MGC gets than I suppose it's not overrated but generally people who actually own it generally say it's really good which is a claim that I don't buy, thus, I have the opinion that it is not as good as what it is claimed to be (i:e I think it's overrated)

I would say that the Aosu can still be a good cube even if you don't like it. Saying you know a good cube when you feel it doesn't really mean anything if almost everyone disagrees with you. You can not like the cube, thats fine with me. But imo it would be better if you would just say that it isn't a good cube for YOU.

Just find the setting in the menu that prevents the center twisting problem and helps speed up the puzzle. Probably the tension.

Also, the Aosu GTS2M is almost 4 years old since it was first released. Not as old as the Wuque, but still a cube that was popularized a long time ago.
