It’s actually not that time of year yet. I will wait until after Thanksgiving. I don’t understand why people start celebrating Christmas before Thanksgiving. It’s almost like we’ve forgotten what Thanksgiving is all about! Even though Christmas is abut celebrating Jesus’s birth, I think that He would want us to celebrate Thanksgiving first, especially considering Advent hasn’t even started yet!
I agree it's to early to celebrate Christmas (just like it's to early for SS awards, ooh burn!) but what do you mean by Christ wanting us to celebrate Thanksgiving first?
Are we not supposed to give thanks always? Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the year and harvest past and think of the origin of the countries beginnings but we should already be doing this so why is it so important that we can't rejoice in the coming of Christ?
Well, I think that it is important to focus on one holiday at a time. Of course we should always be thankful for what we have, but Thanksgiving is a special time to, as you said, remember what the original “Americans” went through to settle where we live today.
Also, I’m not sure how familiar you are with Christianity (specifically Catholicism, in my case), but the Christmas season actually isn’t celebrated until after December 25, so I think it’s fair to wait until Advent to start to prepare for His coming.
? You should always be prepared for his coming (or are you talking about he first one that already took place). I'm not to familiar with Catholicism specifically, as I am not one myself, other than the basics and persecution history.
I just want to point out that I'm not trying to argue that it's time to celebrate Christmas, the hat just represents the holiday season not just Christmas, the Santa thing is ridicules and there should be no emphasis on that. Once it gets closer to Christmas I'll add something actually related to the Holiday, probably the North Star and a lamb.
Santa is completely ridiculous bro. @TheCubingCuber347 Who would actually beleive that a fat guy climbs down your chimney (most of the time non-existent), and then gives you gifts. it's like, Breh.
