唉,我今天學校上課,我們在聽演講,我把魔術方塊拿出來,結果就被老師沒收了,雖然知道我有錯,還是會傷心,嗚嗚嗚
The Tornado V5 is one of my favorite cubes. It is very light, fast, and flexible, but not uncontrollable. It has a very papery feel. The magnets are adjustable, but overall on the moderate/weaker side. It also has a very good angle of auto alignment if you use lighter lubes and looser compression settings. My only complaint about it is that it corner twists a lot.

I have the one with black internals, and I like it a lot. However it makes a lot of noise on the loosest settings, like it will break randomly. But at the medium setting I find it nearly perfect.
I have mine on 5 for center travel and 2 for compression (I can use 3 sometimes too) and it's perfect.

Nice pick, it's a really solid cube. Agree with Michael on the feel — light and fast, but it doesn't run away from you once it's set up right.

Two things I'd add: give it a couple hundred solves before you judge it too much, it smooths out a fair bit as it breaks in. And don't be afraid to play with the settings — if you're getting corner twists, tighten the compression a notch or go a step stronger on the magnets rather than living with it. Small changes make a big difference on this one.

Which version did you get, the black internals or the standard one?

Looking at the box, the standard version. The black version has a black box.

I would also recommend not using super gummy lubes like Gravitas before it is broken in. Heavy and slower lubes don’t react too well with it before it is broken in, which takes longer on this cube than most and really makes a difference in feel. After break in it is a much smoother cube.

Another thing related to break in and set up is the center travel adjustment. I’ve noticed that before break in the center travel adjustment has a bit of an effect on how the compression feels. After that, however, it sort of becomes more independent from the compression and using a tighter center travel won’t make the cube feel more compressed. It’s good for corner twisting prevention — I would recommend any setting above 5 for the least corner twisting, though setting 8 reduces corner cutting by a considerable amount.
