Hello,
I encourage everyone who trains 3-style blindfold solving for 3x3 & have some smart cube to test my application for BLD training. I've created beta build for BLD trainer app. Initially it supposed to be small tool for me to train BLD, but nowadays software development is faster
check description below, if you interested I need your email (and name- although it's probably optional) so I can add you to testFlight tester group- and then you should receive build from App Store to install.
BLDTrainer is an iPhone/iPad app that connects to a Bluetooth smart cube and uses the cube itself as the input device. It assumes 3-style: other methods time and record fine, but the reconstruction reads a solve as a sequence of 3-style algs.
Features included:
What I most need from testers: cube compatibility. Moyu Weilong AI v10 and GAN are verified against real hardware; the Giiker/Xiaomi, GoCube/Rubik's Connected, Qiyi & Tornado V4 and older Moyu (MHC) drivers are ported but have never met an actual cube. If your cube connects but reports no moves — or the wrong ones — please turn on Settings ▸ Diagnostics log, reproduce it, and send me the export. That log is the only way I can see what your cube is saying.

BLDTrainer is an iPhone/iPad app that connects to a Bluetooth smart cube and uses the cube itself as the input device. It assumes 3-style: other methods time and record fine, but the reconstruction reads a solve as a sequence of 3-style algs.
Features included:
- Alg trainer. Corner and edge comms, LTCT, parity, corner 3-twists, 2-twists and edge flips(t2c in TODO list). Pick a buffer and first target and drill one case at a time, or run a marathon over a whole buffer with cases prioritised by slowest or least-trained. Slow cases come back for repeat passes automatically. Learning mode shows you the alg if you hesitate for 3 seconds and records nothing to your stats.
In marathon mode for 3-style edges|corners you can execute algs with canceled moves. - Full-solve timer. Random-state scrambles (full, corners-only, edges-only), scramble tracked live on the cube, memo/exec split detected from your first move — hold to arm, release, solve, tap to stop.
- Reconstruction. Every solve is split into its algs, matched against the manmade blddb alg tables+ some generated conjugates & regrip algs, and shown with per-alg times, pauses and an execution graph. On a DNF it tries to tell you not just what went wrong but where — "extra R at move 47" — and then re-reads the solve as the near-miss it actually was. It also learns your alg set as you go: an execution that matches exactly one published alg gets filed as yours, and ambiguous ones become a question you can answer later.(TODO- maybe even smarter DNF analyser module that can detect more mistakes than no/extra moves in solution)
- Stats per case and per solve, ao5/ao12/mo100 with density and progression charts, plus full export/import so you can move everything between devices.
- Everything's configurable: lettering scheme (Speffz and Chichu presets or roll your own), buffer list and float order, solving orientation, and your memo-word dictionary (CSV import/export).
