Youngest and oldest world champion

Just curious, who is the youngest / oldest cuber to become the world champion ? (Want to google one by one, but I can’t even find out how old Dan Knights was when he got the title back in 2003)

i don't think the WCA provides that kind of age-related data anymore

According to the wiki, Dan was born ~1979, so he would have been about 24 in 2003.

WCA doesn't give or show anyone's age.

You can get an idea of what age range some people who are 40+ now are, from this unofficial 3rd party site -

1982: Minh Thai (16)
2003: Dan Knights
2005: Jean Pons
2007: Yu Nakajima (16)
2009: Breanden Vallance (18)
2011: Michal Pleskowicz
2013: Feliks Zemdegs (18)
2015: Feliks Zemdegs (20)
2017: Max Park (15)
2019: Philipp Weyer (21)
2023: Max Park (21)
UPDATE:
2025: Yiheng Wang (11)

We don't have info of Dan Knights, Jean Pons, or Michal Pleskowicz

A simple google search did the trick for everyone I could find

If yall are finding this after worlds 2025 then HOW
