[Help Thread] [OFFICIAL] Gan 356i discussion / software updates / issues report

Does the new 3.0 version of Cube Station still have the ability to match online multiplayer with players with similar solve times? I’m ~30s and on the old app I got matched with players I was competitive with. It seemed to adjust—when I first got the GAN i cube, my times were closer to ~55s...

[Help Thread] F2L Discussion and Help

If I find one—but I suspect, having thought of how a systematic error might have been creeping in, I’m going to find out that’s all it was. When I get home and can try it I’ll report back.

[Help Thread] F2L Discussion and Help

Hmm... I use a couple smart cubes that catch me if I make a scrambling error—and I almost never do. When I first started noticing this, I stopped, solved a cube completely and re-tried the scramble—cross solved—then solved F2L and retried the scramble—no cross solved. Then solved the cube and...

[Help Thread] F2L Discussion and Help

Apologies—I was posting to the “Puzzle Theory” forum because it’s a question I’ll wrestle with even if I stop using cross-solved scrambles. I’d just like to understand how this is possible, whether or not it’s useful. Sorry I wasn’t more clear about that.

[Help Thread] F2L Discussion and Help

The weird thing is—while most sequences that it gives me work on either a fully-solved cube or an F2L-solved cube...

    Giiker Cube software

There’s an old thread mentioning this but it was never answered: On my Android phone, I paired https://cstimer.net/ to my Giiker Bluetooth cube. Cstimer.net can see my cube and show moves. I wanted to give it a try on one of the other Bluetooth-enabled websites, but it can’t find the Giiker...

    [Member Intro] Hello!

Oh, and I know there are other methods with fewer algorithms to memorize, but I’m still seeing what my limits are with CFOP. After I feel like I’ve stopped making progress, I’ll start looking at other methods.

    [Member Intro] Hello!

Hi, I’m Trey from NYC.... If you don’t care about my progress over the past year since I started solving, I’ll just tl;dr to say I solve traditional 3x3x3 using 4-Look CFOP, and I don’t plan to become competitive, because I have arthritis, so I don’t expect to ever get much below 30 seconds...
