And based on his posting from his 4pad thread he averaged 8s 12 days ago. Sub9 to sub7 in 12 days is fairly rapid improvement

Sprinters, famously, just arrive at the track and go. No extended period where they wait at the line for a signal to run. And in other speedsports like motor racing, they often walk the course beforehand to get a feel for it and spot and potential issues.

We're the 5th or 6th best cubing country in the world BTW. We go back and forth with Canada, currently 5th. Behind Australia, Poland, China and the US.

4 pad was an objectively good decision that needed to happen, with few, if any, drawbacks. And one seemingly unpopular online - we can't be mad at the chinese solvers just for being good at cubing. We either learn from their system and styles or get complacent being left behind.

Also won the European Champion title when Tymon bombed his average in 2026. ER average, WR single, Continental Champion. Sounds alright to me.
