I think it's fine more than one person to design t-shirts, I wasn't the first person to do it either. I use Inkscape and GIMP to make my designs, mainly Inkscape. As you create vector graphics which can be scaled to any size without quality loss. Both free programs as well.
That's some nice designs you got there. A lot of people say they have good ideas but few people actually have the initiative to do something about it! So good on you :)
I noticed that there isn't that much cubing t-shirts available and I thought I had some good ideas so I have designed some of my own t-shirts and used some of the ideas from the other thread I created a while ago.
Anyway here is the store and I hope you guys like them -...
I've added a dark gray colour and some other ones to the 4x4 shirt and changed the design. I had to add it as a new product as you can't edit existing ones. I can add other colours to the other ones as well but don't know if I'll do it yet.
Here is the dark gray and charcoal colours. I do think...
Thanks for the ideas guys, I have brought both of these to life! :)
Would love to hear your thoughts on them. I have also setup a store where you can buy all the shirts I've made so far at - https://teespring.com/stores/rubix-cubix-t-shirts
I think I will make a couple of BLD shirts next, then...
I also think the no inspection makes sense as well. If you say to a non Cuber I can solve this in 10 seconds, then you look at it for 15 seconds before you make a turn, to them it would still be considered "solving" it.
Also didn't 3x3 no inspection used to be an official event?
As someone with (unfortunately) a lot of experience removing magnets, the way I've done is to soak the pieces in hot soapy water overnight or for a few hours, then ply them out with a screwdriver. Then repeat for any stubborn ones that are left. The magnets will still be usable as well
I'll definitely look into making some, you're not the first person to ask about blindfolded shirts. I'll try and get some more done this week although I'm quite busy atm so I'll see what I can do.
If anyone else has any ideas (as well as yours above) for a good blindsolving t-shirt then I'd...
I think the idea is alright, but I think the design takes up too much space, most designs only use about the top 60% or so of the shirt. Also with regards to the font, sometimes simpler is better ;)
