Are the scrambles and reconstructions available? Also, what makes Sean Villanueva so fast? Is it just efficient blockbuilding and fast turning, or does he use asome advanced methods, like influencing edges during CMLL and fast algs for last six edges?
I learned 3-corners commutators from https://www.ryanheise.com/cube/corner_3_cycles.html
Sometimes it is better to reverse the cycle, i.e. sometimes it is better to use commutator X Y X^(-1) Y^(-1) where X is one move and Y three moves.
More precisely, the scramble D' R U' R' D R U R' can be...
This is really amazing solution. I was surprised that you switch fom inverse even inside EO or during square in the second step.
Do you look for these moves on the cube with inverse scramble or do you recognise these one-movers (D’ on the first line and B on the second line) on the reguar...
Nice. How did you find B2 U B' U B U2 B' U B' ? Is it an alg which you remember? Or is it just reordering edges using B-U moves? In the second case, did you know before the execution of this alg which corners remain intact?
Heise method is fine to continue. Orient edges by cris/cross https://www.ryanheise.com/cube/match_squares_and_orient_edges.html
x2 y2
r' R' U r' D' U2 R' U' B U B' //(11 Moves f2l-1)
F' L F L' // criss/cross
I submitted the same 2x2x3. Then I did orientation with respect to the second axis, as suggested in December in this forum https://www.speedsolving.com/forum/threads/introducing-a-variation-for-fewest-moves.67299/(4 moves). The rest was easy. This produced 29 moves solution with 2x2 edge cycle...
I am not speedsolver and I am not sub-xx, but if it helps, I can share my strategy
1. Use alg to solve dots if this case appears (easy to spot)
2. In the other cases use M and U2 moves and check that you never break the pair or a line usin U2 move.
Hello,
I found the package rubikcube amazing as a tool for preparing written tutorials.
I prepared Czech tutorial for left-handed Roux beginners. I think this is also way for many people, since kinds start cube in the age when they are not skilled enough to understand tutorials on Youtube in...
Hello, I am new here.
I am from Czech Republic, I am over 40 (both age and seconds). Thank you so much for this site, forum and wiki. I learned a lot from here.
I do not have ambitions and time to memorize all these OLL and PLL used in speedcubing. But as a mathematician (working in ODE's), I...
