Selling Speedcubes and Non-WCA Puzzles I Don't Use Anymore

Just so you guys know, the seller has not visited the forums since the beginning of July and has not responded to any PMs.

    The Weirdest Puzlle of All

Probably not. The rainbow cube is mechanically equivalent to a dino cube (one’s a shapemod of the other). By today’s standards, dino cube is way too simple and fast to be an event, which means rainbow cube would be too.

    Upcoming puzzles

I actually like the idea, it’s gonna make the cubes feel smaller and potentially improve grip like a concave center would

Selling Speedcubes and Non-WCA Puzzles I Don't Use Anymore

Are these still available? I’ve sent a message

    33x33x33 AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE

Gonna have to agree with Tony on this one. It’s pretty cool, but it’s been up on the site for a few years now and they probably aren’t making much of a profit on it if they did sell any. If I recall correctly, Greg was trying to sell his original one, but I don’t remember if it actually sold or not.

Thank you, but I meant all 3000+ last layer cases. Oll and Pll symmetry are fairly easy to find.

    Cubing Never Have I Ever

Never have I ever competed in 3x3 at a competition. I have been to a few competitions though.

Yes, that’s what I mentioned in the last paragraph about the symmetry. An N perm has 90 degree symmetry so it’s 1/72 as opposed to the 4/72 of a T perm. However, I couldn’t find a list of last layer cases by their symmetry so I simplified the problem.

    Probability Thread

Yeah, that’s what I meant and used in the calculation, good catch.

    Probability Thread

TLDR, 99.999997% I may have completely messed up my math for someone like xyzzy to catch me on, but this is a large simplification of the problem: Assume every case has a probability of 4/15552 of occurring (4x a last layer skip, or 1/3888). The probability of NOT getting a specific case after...

    [Help Thread] Clock Discussion

That’s good to know, I had no idea if anyone used it and the only trace of it is an old YouTube video and forum thread. Thank you!

    [Help Thread] Clock Discussion

What is the general consensus on no flip? I think clock has a lot of room to grow still, and the next step is no-flip, simultaneous pins, and taking advantage of it being commutative (seriously stretching inspection here). Maybe I should prove that it’s viable first?

    Trying To Magnetize A Kilominx

So I’ve been inactive from this forum for a while, including the time this thread was made.... I have a magnetic MFJS, and the QiYi one can be magnetized too. You just have to use an edge center scheme for the MFJS and drill holes into the flat bits on the edges. I think the QiYi can be done...

    Big Cube BLD Discussion

It seems I was mistaken about a full list, but this is the sheet I was thinking of: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1yHyLJDvVbuEsoHONefUq7jAAFta9qM9wydwfSrJOZWQ/edit

    Big Cube BLD Discussion

Yes, I believe both Graham’s and DRL’s doc have oblique tabs. I think DRL’s is pretty easy to configure for lettering scheme too. Let me know if you can’t find it, I can go digging through the ones I copied because I know I have one.
