AI will make programmers lose their jobs!!

I wish we had a rollback to the time before AI. Truly dystopian. Look at that cube, it's unnatural, it's blasphemy!

acubemy - One Smart Cube App, to rule them all!

I love acubemy! I use it all the time for racing, and checking my movecount and solutions quickly. If anyone wants to 1v1 online, hit me up 👀

[Help Thread] Question. How many of you actually record all your solves?

I do record all my official solves now, after an annoying incident at a competition where footage would have helped to decide in my favour. But at home... naaahhhhh, but I probably should, just for getting used to having the camera pointed at me :D

    Rubik's Tetris simulator

This is super freaky and very cool. Did you just code that as a little practice project?

Road to sub-10 with ZZ (ZZ progression starts after some pages since this was previously used for something else. Don't mind about the poll)

That's a really good starting point if you already know COLL :) EOCross is great for Two-Handed. Best of Luck!

    Choosing the right ZZ Variant

I'm not sure if that's really that worth it. The cool thing about phasing is that it technically costs you 0 moves. To reduce LL to only H and Pi subsets, you'll need some algs that are longer than the standard inserts. There's a name for it, but I forgot it. To be fair, you can probably figure...

Feasibility of really big 3x3 algsets like 1LLL and UF5

It all depends on how much time you pour into cubing. If you're competitive on an international level, practice 10+ hours per day anyway and have already exhausted most of the easy improvement through higher TPS, intuitive solutions, lookahead, then investing time in 1LLL is a no-brainer, as...

    Choosing the right ZZ Variant

About Niklas - Yes and no. The moment you start recognising Niklas, it also takes you longer to do a Sune. I agree there's nothing wrong with learning it, because you will anyway at some point and niklas is really fast, but... technically, if you haven't started doing sune/antisune COLL...

    Choosing the right ZZ Variant

ZZLL is 169 algs, a third of ZBLL. So yeah, the final stretch is pretty long, but you'll see how learning algorithms becomes easier and faster the more you have already memorized. I agree that Sune/Antisune is not worth it for COLL. However, you will learn the algs at some point anyway, because...

    Choosing the right ZZ Variant

This comes from my experience, and I hope my experience holds some weight. Beginner ZZ (EOLine, Blockbuilding or EOCross + Pairs into OCLL, PLL) is definitely good enough to just get sub10, probably even sub8, sub7 if you're really good. But before getting that far, you WILL learn some more...
