Yep, in my opinion this is the main problem of 356 i, this is the only reason I won't recommend buying the cube if you don't live in China. Gan is doing a big effort in the new app, but without battles it is not worth the 80$ of the cube. My main is a 356 XS, my 356i has been in a drawer for months.

The app has been updated several times, that's good. My suggestion is if you can add a changelog in the update screen, it will make easier to test new stuff or bug fixes. Other apps developers do it, sometimes the text is just something like "improvements and bug fixes" or "english translations...

Sorry, I don't have the robot. You can practice the algs in the app or add customs, it measures the time it takes to you, and you can repeat it anytime you want.

Can someone living in Europe (or outside China) confirm matching in battles? Matching is almost impossible, and no room for multiplayer either. Try several days at different hours without luck. I know is a beta, but a lot of work is needed in translation to english, in tutorials, survey, events...

Giving a try to old version, things are the same, if you live outside china no battles for you, you finish the cube but the time goes on and you have to exit with a DNF. That's the most important thing to solve if you want to sell the cube globally, I mean successfully without angry customers...

After a month or so with the cube in a drawer I have taken it, charged for about 2 hours, and tried to play some battles. Results: 2 successful games, 2 match failed and 1 DNF in this order. My wonderful and expensive gan356i goes again to the drawer...

Battle is a COMPLETELY disaster.... DNF, no matching.... I have more time to cube on weekends but servers are down or busy or whatever. Feeling angry!

Yes, the other pair of springs are tougher than the ones that came with the cube. The golden ones are the toughest, and the other silver ones a bit tougher. Have you changed the springs?

Help needed. My 356i is quite tougher than my 356X, I've tried to soft it (356i) changing the springs but the one by default is the softest. I use lube and use the cube a lot, so using it is not going to help. Any tip? I've thought about cutting the springs but don't know if it's going to...

Are servers down? Impossible to battle, matching always fails after a minute waiting....
