I have a stupid habit of not trusting my memo in the cases it is ultra-"fast", such as in this solve. My memo was good after 10 seconds, but I started thinking maybe I had left out a cycle and therefore went through it again. The shaking was sick.
Fast turning + shakes = sloppy turning...
I went LIVE on Good Morning Norway once. I was supposed to do a legit BLD solve. I failed.
But lollers, OH solving while doing pushups is still something you CAN do, whereas BLD has a huge fail-factor.
Long time no see!
Oslo Fall 2012: Scandinavian record with: 51.52 . 10 edge targets, 6 corners and 1 twist (17). Non-lucky, woohoo.
Time to beat Ville ^^
Hi guys,
I have been getting into 5BLD again. It seems I have forgotten some things.
Solving order:
- Midges (BH)
- X-centers (BH)
- +-centers (BH)
- Wings (BH)
- Corners (BH)
When there is parity in midges, I do Ui F2 U m2 Ui F2 U. But... IT AFFECTS +-centers. DOH. Many messed up solves...
Mine just pops if I misalign the layers even a little.
Will you be so kind to link me directly to a puzzle shop that ships for free (black cube please)? I have been of out the game for so long I feel I have forgotten everything. Thanks :-)
Hi all,
I seem to have forgotten the r2-parityalg . r U2 r2 U2 r U2 r U2 r2 l U2 ri U2 r U2 li U2 .... it goes along this line. What am I doing wrong? the centers turn up wrong.
Thanks Zane, you are a big inspiration-source :) I truly love 5BLD while 4BLD stresses me out. 4BLD has become "easy" in the sense that it requires so little memo and I just rush it like a 3BLD resulting in a 35% sucessrate :p 5BLD is slow and steady :)
