I have had bad experiences spraying into a rubiks dyi with jigaloo.....Now I only ever spray the cube when it is all taken apart. I spray all the sides, let dry for 15 minutes, and then polish the cubies with a rag: Jigaloo'd 3 rubiks dyi at least 30 times each and they are still going strong...
I would suggest you shorten your story by having a Person, an Action, and and Item for each of your 2 letter words. Choose a route you usually walk and know well (I use the walk to the mall for my route with several marked locations along the way) and, at each location, stop and...
I have an original revenge that I broke a center on. I tried epoxy, superglue, crazy glue and none of them worked for me for longer than 30-40 minutes. I ended up purchasing a new style center from cubesmith and I took a dremel/sander thingy and made the foot on the new one look like the foot...
I picked up a new glow in the dark set from the salvation army for a whopping $2.99 and I love it. I had previously been using a regular handheld timer and I must say that the speedstack is superior in every way.
My 2 Mefferts are the only two 4x4's that I have owned that haven't broken; original Rubiks, retooled rubiks, eastsheen all broke in short order (eastsheen just became so loose it was impossible to use).
I wipe the cube with rubbing alcohol to remove sticky residue and then soak my cubies in hot water with dish detergent to loosen the gunk and then scrub them. I can't imagine I could get better results and there is zero risk.
Our Walmart hasn't sold 25th anniversary cubes for years. Walmart sells standard cubes that say 25th anniversary on the package but those are not 25th anniversary cubes; 25th's have different label on the center sticker and much better at cutting corners
you can buy DIYs from Rubiks.com which is in Canada or Cube4you or Huskeyomega (on ebay) or pay way to much in few different stores around here for non DIY Rubiks. I have ordered from the three above and have no problems other than 2-3 weeks wait from the Asian two. Rubiks.com got me my cubes...
If it were not for the uncapped corners this would be my guess because it feels very much like the 1980 cube that I own and the center is exactly the same.
Help me I.D. this cube - Original Deluxe maybe
Hi.
I bought a couple of cubes (and a rubik's suduko too) yesterday and I am not sure about one of the cubes.
-Logo is Rubik's Script over CUBE in squared block letters with TM printed right on the white sticker written horizontally like this...
I disagree....my times dropped a little when I switched from Rubiks to Eastsheen and significantly when I switched from Eastsheen to Mefferts. I have a white and black Mefferts and both of them are great; I have already owned them for longer than my Rubiks or Eastsheens lasted and they show no...
I got an Alexander Star when they first came out, solved it to the parity state in a few hours and had no idea how to fix it so it sat for about 20 years in that state...I could of used the help of a youtube back then.
I followed a forum member's advice to remove all the stickers but the cross on a trainer cube and practice with it until you attain the results you desire. The limited stickers allow for you to really focus on just the cross and get a better feel for what is happening. I found this worked well...
