How can I improve my 4x4 times?

Eastsheens are really outdated. Try a shengshou. Look up advanced 4x4 methods on youtube or elsewhere and practice a lot. Practice is the key to getting good times.

    Big cube BLD progression

2-5. Would do bigger cubes, however I have a v-6 missing one piece, and I'm not gonna do 7 until I get a SS.

    One-Answer Blindsolving Question Thread

By breaking into a new cycle. It's no different from the cycles of other blind pieces. If your U layer pieces aren't solve yet, you can use face interchange commutators. That way, you don't have to keep track of cycles. I hope that made sense.

    Blindfold Accomplishment Thread

I don't know what happened... the last time I did a few timed blind solves was a week or so ago. I was averaging 1:20. I just got a 1:07 Mo10/10. :D

What was the hardest thing for you to wrap your head around in BLD solving?

At first, knowing which pieces I had memorized and which ones I hadn't was difficult. Cycles were a pain to get my head around.
