Blind crosses, trying to use the least amount of moves, and watching example solves. That helped me so much. I like to think I'm pretty fast at star, I haven't timed star alone in a long time, but I'd say my slowest stars are about 4-5 seconds. But don't work on speed, that will come naturally...

If you want to be sub-2:00, F2L = 30 and S2L = 50-1:00. With a 20 sec LL that should be 1:40-1:50. For the star I would suggest looking at example solves on youtube, I know Odder and Simon both have one on their channels.

Work on your S2L, and then your F2L. Your last layer is pretty good, so it's probably just lookahead and finding pieces that you're having trouble with. Try doing untimed solves where you turn slow enough so that you have very little pauses. Good luck and have fun :P

This thread is really making me want to learn more ZBLL, you guys make learning a bunch of algs look so cool, especially when you're able to use them in every solve. O.O I probably won't get around to learning all of it, probably just the easier to recognize cases. But this is still pretty...

I have a lot of trouble with this. Normally, I do what Keaton said, solve whatever I want whenever I want. But if I really want to get fast at something, I practice it pretty much exclusively for weeks or even months. That's how I got fast at mega, I basically stopped practicing everything else...

No matter how you see it, the dress is literally blue and black. There are other pictures that show that. There's probably a bunch of stuff that happened today that was missed by the general public. It's a cool pic, but it really isn't important enough for the internet to care.
