    [Help Thread] Puzzle Choice Thread

Although Dayan's seem to be the typical answer nowadays, if you have the money, I'd recommend trying a variety. Dayans seem to excell in most things; corner cutting/reverse, speed, not much lockups, I just don't like the feel of them. But if that's not important, then just go for one of the...

    Flowable silicone

You could, however, I highly recommend Maru Lube or lubix if you can wait for it. Local competitions usually sell it, or you could order it from the internet

    The Cube Design Thread

Wow, cubes look good. The corner needs a ton of work though. Circular ball foot sounds like it's gonna rotate a ton, and if it's just big enough to fit then it'll pop easily. I recommend having pieces that have perpendicular sub pieces (think torpedo design) because if you do it correctly it...

    ShengEn FIII Review!

Thanks, it helped. Things to remember: Keep the volume of your voice generally the same, because you're fading in and out a little too much. Show edges/corners in more detail, provide information as to why pieces are shaped like so if you know why. When I saw this I was all hyped for a better...

    The One-Answer Question Thread [closed]

There's really nothing you can do but redo the tensions yourself. If you haven't tensioned a cube before, start with making all the tensions even, then loosening/tightening all sides equally until you have your optimal tension.

    FII help

I suggest keeping the core the same. The F-II core and A-V core are pretty different in size IIRC. As far as lockups and overturning goes, the most you can do is tightening the screws. If you try sanding anything in hopes of reducing lockups, you'll just ruin the cube. The F-II takes a little...

What's the best DIY Cube To Buy in 2011?

When I started cubing, I was taught that there is no better cube. It's all personal preference. What happened while I was away? I for one love my F-II. There are many cubes that you must get used to, but once you have, you're set. Many of the DaYan cubes are fast, minimal pops, minimal locks...

    Pen spinning

I've been doing this for a couple months, haven't gotten much better though. I know Sonic, fingerpass (Although horrible), thumb around, continuous thumbaround to some extent, charge, reverse thumbaround, harmonic thumbaround, infinity, eight, and I think that's it. Great for those boring...
