    [Help Thread] FMC Discussion

    Hello everyone, I am new to FMC and I needed some help : Scramble : R'U'F U2 B2 R2 U L2 U' F2 U2 B' R2 D2 U' F L' R' F U2 R F2 R' U' F First, I created a 2x2x2 block by : : F D R B' R' and then a extended it to a 2x2x3 by : [2B] : R U L U' L' U R' F So basically , [B+2B] : F D R B' U L U' L'...

The New Method / Substep / Concept Idea Thread

Hey everyone, I had an idea that can be useful for total beginners if they want to start out with the ZZ method. As everyone knows, LL edges in ZZ are already oriented and so there are only 7 OLL cases that a beginner will have to remember. But if the solver also applies phasing and then solves...

    Parity Elimination

Thanks for replying but what I wanted to say is that IF I memo the edges in a way that I assume that the UB piece is in the UL position and the UL piece is in the UB position and then solve the edges, then will it eliminate parity? I mean, this way, won't there be any need to exchange those...

    Parity Elimination

Hello everyone, Method : Corners : OP / tuRBo Edges : M2 / tuRBo Suppose, I am using OP for corners and tuRBo for edges, then : Condition : I get odd number of targets for corner cycles Question : So, I know that the UB and the UL edges are going to be swapped in the end, so can I...

    One Answer Question Hardware Thread

Hi everyone, I had a question : there are two types of internal edges in a 4x4x4, in my case, a GuanSu. IF I glue the smaller internal pieces to the larger internal edge, what will happen? Will it posses a problem in assembling or something? I always had that question. Why are those pieces...

    ZZ-CT Thread

I finally understood the naming used for TTLL and I had already decided to use the Tran-style system, so I will finally start learning TTLL :) BUT, I still did not get the TSLE heading names : {N, Cw, CCW} Cw is clockwise and CCW is counter clockwise but what is N? and what do they all mean...

    ZBLL for megaminx

Thanks!!! But, why to include the number of cases wherein you get a PLL skip, can't we exclude that?
