Hey guys I have heard stories about people who had trouble improving past a certain point no matter how much they practiced, so they stopped then came back a few months later and were able to improve further and get faster. I just wanted to know what you guys think about using this as a way get...
I have now fully switched to ZZ and now know that there are many variants to it. I just wanted to know what ZZ variants you guys use or think are best?
I would try to learn a few similar methods like 1-flip and Oka, generally top first or v first methods are pretty similar to each other so try to pick either v first of top first.
First wait and see what events you are interested in before learning methods.
2x2: Learn cll if you like it.
3x3: cfop is good, but look into roux and zz now before it gets too difficult to switch.
4x4: Yau is good
5x5/6x6/7x7: You can get really fast with reduction but I guess you could...
Hey guys, I was just wondering what you guys do in 3x3 stage of big cubes as ZZ solvers? For example in Yau for 4x4 you already have a cross, so do you just break the cross and fix the edges?
I have now watched Phil Yu's videos on edge orientation and have been practicing it, but it is not coming easily. I find it very difficult to tell whether or not edges are good or bad that aren't white or yellow(since I am not color neutral) and really can't seem to orient all the edges with out...
I am currently a CFOP solver averaging at about 21-22 seconds. I have been interested in ZZ for a little while since it seems to appeal to the things I have trouble with like cube rotations. I am now seriously considering switching and was wondering if you had any pointers, tips or good tutorials.
