I solved my first 3x3x3 in 1982 with the help of my mom and a book from the library. I was 7. I got my first speed cube in the fall of 2017 after digging out my stiff Rubik's cube when an online friend posted about trying to solve one. I was 42. Before I became a mom to 3 daughters, I was an elementary teacher. In the early 2000s I kept a Rubik's cube on my desk at school. The students would scramble for me, and I would solve. I can currently solve a 3x3x3 (best time- 32.41 sec.) and 4x4x4. I am learning to solve a Square-1. I have no cubing friends in real life, and hope to make some here.

I'm a lefty, elementary art teacher and mother who solves cubes in the kitchen while dinner is cooking.
