WHY?
I received a Rubik’s cube when I was 5.
I solved it using a tutorial at the age of 45 after I spent several months in bed recovering from cancer.

HOW?
I don’t really use a technique other than what I learnt in the tutorial.
I can solve using memory up until the final (yellow) side and top row corners and middles.

WHAT!
I then use algorithms (written down) to solve the yellow side and then finally the corners and middles on each remaining side.

HOW LONG!!
This usually involves me repeatedly executing the RIGHT SUNE and BAR.

It currently takes me 5 minutes to solve however I feel like I am cheating resorting to algorithms and what’s worse is I have to have them written down in front of me.

WHAT’S NEXT?
It’s a very special feeling though when the cube is completed, especially since I have waited 40 years!
Next steps: I’d love to be able to solve the cube without referring to any notes.
Beyond that perhaps start to test myself against the clock.

I am looking for a buddy/hell to help me get beyond where I am today.
