OH using ZZ+MGLS can be very sexy though...2gen+2gen+some more 2gen
Oh yes, here's how I imagine my solves once I'm done with CLS:

EO. May require a rotation for efficiency.
F2L-1slot. 3-gen. No rotating.
CLS - 2-gen. No rotating (except for a few cases, really).
PLL - no rotating (1-look PLL recog, alg, AUF)

See a trend? No rotating.
Basically, I've noticed that I usually spend far too much time rotating in CFOP and other method solves, so now I plan to jump all the way to the other extreme.

:fpI do WAY too many d moves in my cfop while looking for pieces . I tried zz before but was too lazy to work on EOline and learning a better LL method.
IMO one of the EO's advantages is having LL piece orientated and doing oclls seem to be a waste for me (it's not necessarily slower though...)

So, like, I'm making new algs, because I realized that I hate all of Macky's, lots of Lucas', and a good deal of Sarah's.

So far, I have + and - done.
None of them have rotations. All are <R, U, L, D>, if not just <R, U>.

I shall finish O, I, and Im tonight, most likely, and you will be in awe at the awesomeness of these new algs. They're sooo sexy. :e

Await. Rotationless solves, here I come. :p

Oh hey. So guess what I've been doing for the past 2 days? Getting new algs.

Statue's CLS alg page(s)
. oh, and it's on google docs if anyone cares.

<statue> most of these are really sexy
<statue> I changed tons
<statue> I have pretty much no rotations, which ofc adds to movecount, but I want rotationless solves :p

:)
I hope you all like.

Thanks. :)
I'm currently going through the list, making sure to fix any mess-ups. :p
I think I'm good for the most part, though.

Also, am has alg for Im with only UFR misoriented:

U y RUR'U'*2 L2 URU'R'*2 L2

I know it has a rotation but it doesn't suck half as bad as the other algs I've seen for it xD

The same idea also works if you do U' setup instead, but then it's <L, U, R2> and you might not like that :p

i want to learn muggles.. but learning all these algs seems very hard for a begginer.
Q:How should a begginer learn this method? with what algs?(2look or somthing), in what order??

Nonono. This is not for beginners, really.

If you're a CFOPer, I recommend learning PLL and 2-look OLL first, then learning ELS, I and Im, and then the rest, if you want to be a MuGgLeS.

CLS seems to be far too many algs for me. Just thinking about learning 50+ algs but only get to use them 50%of the time puts me off.:(

I'm falling in love with the idea of using CLS with ZZ.

Since with preoriented edges you can slot the unpaired edge at any time during the F2L, you can often set it up for free or with just one or two inserted moves that are easy to spot. So, basically you end up with an F2L slot skip. :)

Winter's Variation only gives pair-insertion skips, because you still need to pair up the edge and corner. Also, it doesn't apply to split-pair (R U R') and non-standard cases. It's useful, but it's not as dramatic as CLS.

The disadvantage of CLS is that it requires about twice as many algorithms, and learning the mirrors isn't optional (although learning mirrors is easy and something you'd want for WV anyway).

Hello. I just figured I'd post this here since it would help people learning MGLS, it's certainly helping me.

As I'm learning MGLS I've come to a dilemma. I want to practice MGLS as I'm learning it so I can become comfourtable with the algs and won't forget any. However, there isn't a 2 look version. What I was doing at first were solve of Cross + 3F2L + ELS. However, this didn't let me practice CLS's. I now use a practice method I call Fake-MGLS. All you need to know is the C, I, and Im cases. You simply solve up to CLS, then when you reach the CLS, you try to recognize the case, if you don't know it, you can just do (RUR'U')x3, which takes about a second, then continue with the solve. If you don't care about your times during practice, it's great.

If you plan to use MGLS-F, and plan on just practicing C+I+Im for a bit, consider the following, which is what I did for a while, but ZZ'd up a bit.

Cross
F2L 1, 2, and 3.
EO. Not ELS.
Place that edge *while* placing that corner into the correct spot, but not necessarily correctly oriented.
Just don't let this become a bad habit, don't expect extra speed, or even the lack of a decrease in such, and it should turn out to be a good practice.

Well, I'd use that, but I want to be used to going straight to ELS, it's a bit tough to do 3F2L instead of 4F2L for me. Sorry to be a noob, but what's MGLS-F?
