Does temperature/humidity affect your cube?

I don't think that that small of a difference in temperature and humidity would make a noticeable difference in the plastic, but it might have an effect on the lube.

The silicon squeeze on lube I use feels sticky until it's warmed up (usually within 3 solves depending on the room temp).
Other than that I don't notice the difference.

When my cube gets hot, It gets faster and smoother, but pops more. My guess is that the plastic softens a bit, and the silicone thaws (for lack of a better word).

This. Same exact thing happens to me, and I believe the same exact reasoning.

I live in Florida, so you really notice the difference from a 70 degree room and then walking outside in 95 degree heat.

The only time temperature has affected my cube was when there was Vaseline in it. Cold, it was sluggish and slow. Warmed up it turned amazing. Then it broke.

At first I was like wtf...but then I realised. NVM

I like to stick my cube (and my hands) in front of the heater for a while before I do an average.

Temperature doesn't effecting my cube, but my hands and finggers.. Just hate the AC..

Most of my cubes are okay, but the Lepao really freezes and gets sluggish in colder weather. In warm weather, it's decent.

Hands are always bricked when cold, I can honestly say, yes, a silicone lubed AV does move faster outside in 90* heat, or direct sunlight.

When its hot out (it can get hot in Canada?), I can't cube because my hands get sweaty, and I can kind of feel a different feeling in my cube. I don't like the heat. Considering moving to Alaska.
