The changes from Beginner to Professional cuber

Hi, i am relatively new to cubing and now i have passed from beginners to intermidiate level cubing. in the process of finishing of my 2 look pll and 2 look pll. i can say i dont need to use beginner f2l anymore.. just need to pratice look ahead.

now back to my post, i would like to know the transaction from beginner to professional cuber and how many steps and their averages of timing. i need like a guide line to benchmark my performance. if anybody could post a detailed time line it would be greatly appriciated. thank you.

I'm not sure, but maybe...

LBL + Beginner LL = Beginner

F2L + 4LLL = Intermediate

F2L + 3LLL = Advanced

F2L + 2LLL = Pro

This isn't exactly accurate, but it should give you a rough idea.
And plus, it also depends on how good your F2L is.

This is in terms of how much you know, not how fast you are.
Because with F2L + 4LLL, some people can sub 20, making them a pro.

Depends what you mean by "professional" and "beginner" really.
Their knowledge of the cube, how fast they are, etc.

And also, don't forget about the people whose main method isn't Fridrich.

i think i need to futher more m practice in F2Ls becuase i average around 23~25 seconds. i just need to practice look ahead. OLL wise i need two more to learn for 2 look oll which i will pause for now. PLL wise i need to learn one more for 2 look. E perm. so i think i should continue on PLL till i know full PLL then work on my F2L. so what do you think?

Well, to be a pro you need to be paid for it, I don't know of anyone whos occupation is solving rubik's cubes .
I would call it expert

Man how the heck are you doing 22.81 seconds using LBL + 4LLL? I know Erik did a video where he did it in 19 seconds but that was long after he was good with look ahead in Fridrich Method. My PB using Keyhole was 32.

I know that nlcuber22 can actually do sub-20 averages with 4ll. While only cubing for about 3 months .


What i dont understand is how you can be a pro in speedcubing. Because isnt it considered to be a pro once you are paid for wat you do???
