Hello, this is the announcement post for the Allrounder Knockout Tournament 2025 2.0.
1) Registration:
Registration starts now and closes on Monday 8.12.2025 20:00 MESZ. You register in the form given below by giving your WCA-ID, which will be used for the kinch-based seeding.

Format: The tournament is a single elimination knockout format with a kinch based seeding and a battle for 3rd place. For each round and each battle there will be 3 events chosen at random from the list of WCA events and whoever wins more events proceeds to the next round. If a tie occurs, then the results average kinch decides.
Right after registration ends, I will start the first round. Each round goes on for a week until Monday 20:00 MESZ and the next round will start shortly after the previous round ends.
I will make an announcement post for the start of each round, which includes the matchups, events, scrambles and results of the previous round.
This time we will not have event bans, as I want to experiment with the concept a bit and found it a bit lame that like half the people just banned 3 blind events last time. Like last time, I will draw events live on twitch, if anyone wants to watch (

Since this part has led to confusion in the past: The seeding beeing kinch based means that the matchups depend on your "skill" as a cuber to some extent, so the slower you are, the faster your opponent is. This has the effect that better cubers stay in the tournament longer and allows for more exciting rounds later on.
