Possibly Good 7-Simul Clock Method Variant

Hi guys!

In the past weeks i have been experimenting with making a clock method with sum people including mick boekema, former er holder.

We found a 7-simul flip pinorder with 2 letter memo which might not be made yet.

The memo is: R to D and L to U, and to get to the execution side, do an x2.

To solve with the memo, heres what you gotta do:

R: Match U to L with right hand on the UR wheel, and with your left hand on the UL wheel, do letter 1 (R to D)
DR: Make a 2x2 block, with the DR wheel match the center clock to U and L, as those are matched, and with the UL wheel, match the UL corner to U and l.
L: Match D to R with the UL wheel, and with the UR wheel, do letter 2 (L to U)
UL: Match the 2x2 block to the matched D and R with the UL wheel, and match the DR corner to matched D and R with the UL wheel.
x2 - flip the clock x2
DR: Make a 2x2 block just like you did on the first DR.
UL: Make a \ shape just like you did on the first UL.
UL and DR pin up: Match everything to 12 with a slash move.

I suck at making tutorials, I might make one on youtube soon.

I believe Davian meant match D to R. At least, that’s what I’ve been doing, and I’ve gotten successes following the rest of the tutorial word for word

Literally my 3rd timed solve with this method, so the exec was super slow, but it's such an easy scramble that skips a few steps! For anyone that is somewhat decent at this method, how good is this scramble really?

Start from x2 z- to memo 0 -1 then x2 and you can already skip to the DR step, then you skip needing to do the last UL DR \ step.

I don't understand the first and second UL. I just cant solve it

you match the 2x2 block you made with DR to the D and R that is matched. and you also match the dr corner to the D and R to make a slash shape, you just make another 2x2 block, it should look like this:
