Hey everyone,

I’m excited to finally share a project I’ve been working on for the past six months — Cubezila. It’s an all-in-one speedcubing website designed to bring everything you need into one place. cubezila.com

Cubezila includes:
  • A clean, modern timer UI that looks and feels great to use
  • A fully-featured timer with everything you need to get started
  • A large and growing algorithm database
  • Cloud sync across devices
  • Excellent mobile responsiveness
  • Import solves from csTimer or Twisty Timer
  • Next-level customization — you can literally customize everything in the timer
  • More features coming soon — and everything is free for now
-

The timer is fully customizable you can create amazing themes or use one of the 60+ themes available there.

Available tools in the timer:
1. scramble display
2. metronome
3. cross solver (cross, xcross and xxcross)
4. Bld helper
5. View your last solve
6. remove solves
7. multiphase timer

This is a solo project built out of passion for the cubing community. There may still be a few bugs or rough spots, but I’m actively working on updates and improvements. Your feedback is really valuable, so let me know what you think.

If you're interested in joining the project or contributing in any way, feel free to reach out: [email protected]

Thanks for taking the time to check it out. Hope you find it useful!

Yo, this looks really cool! Niceee

Btw, can you add more cubes like Kilominx, FTO, Ivy, Redi, Dino, Master Pyra, Gear, Curvy Copter, Helicopter, etc. to the timer?

Can you make a guide on how to make custom themes? I put in the json file but it's not doing anything.
What JSON file did you use exactly?
To create custom themes, start customizing—most options are in the Display tab.
Once you're done, you can export your theme as a JSON file. You can share it with friends or keep it as a backup.
That’s it! Or, if you prefer, you can choose from the 60+ available themes.

Hey guys, I just wanted to share some hidden features in the timer. I’ll make a video about it, but I wanted to share it with you now.

Keyboard shortcuts:
To remove solves
→ press "p" (previous)
To reset session → press "r" (reset)
If you reset a session by mistake → press "ctrl+z" to undo
To DNF → press "d"
To add +2
→ press "2"
To open the details popup
→ press "i"

If you click on one of the stats in the top left, it will open a popup with a lot of stats where you can add, remove, or change styling.
Also if you click on the solve time it will open the details popup, where you can retry or edit solve.
At the bottom you will see a chevron icon if you click it, it will collapse the history bar.

Also, in the BLD helper, the highlighted letter means that you're starting a new cycle beginning from that letter.

In the metronome, if you click on the note icon, you can change the pattern of the metronome to single note, scale pattern, or Happy Birthday song.

You can change the look of the history solves in the Layout tab in the settings.

For scrambles, if you click on the 3x3 icon, it will open a full 3x3 subset list.

Really nice timer! A lot more customization than the one I used before. It's really cool how you can just click on one of the 4 small panels and see all your stats. Very convenient! Unfortunately, the scramble display seems to be broken. I'd love to see a feature where the PB single panel opens the pop-up for the solve.
9.1/10 timer, would recommend

I don’t know what’s wrong with the scramble display in your case. I use cubing.js for my scramble display. By any chance, do you use an outdated laptop? Maybe that could be the issue, because it’s working for me. Please if someone else has this same issue, tell me. Otherwise, thank you.
