What do you think of new cubers

a specific person with a specific unfunny profile picture?
Yes
I'm sure the older people in the forum have noticed cubers getting younger and younger. Back in the day it was teens like Macky and adults like Ron. Now it's literal 6 year olds competing.
it is because kids are getting more access to the internet and are becoming smarter. Maybe even one day most of the wrs can be held by children. We are just getting smarter and our hands tirn faster and we are not old AND WE WIL CONQUER MWAHHAHHAHAHA

kids are becoming smarter
Imma need a citation for that.

kids are getting more access to the internet
That's not neccessarily a good thing. Back a few years when most social media, forums and the like had a minimum age of 13 at least, there were enough instances of doxxing, identity theft, stalking... With many sites opening up their registration to younger children, who are naturally more naive with internet danger awareness in children being about as bad as back then, more access to the internet might be more of a problem.

Huh

What doxxing ? Btw if its something rlt bad no need to say
Kids have access to the internet so you could just search it. Also, since kids are getting smarter (according to you, without providing evidence at all), you can be expected to know that.

All @Thom S. means to say is that the internet can be very dangerous for kids.

Doxxing is the act of releasing private information of another individual to the public over the internet with malicious intend.
This can include adresses, phone numbers, bank information, school/workplace and much more.
Doxxing is done through different means(that I won't get into) but one of the most often used methods is finding children on the internet and using their naiveness to just openly give that information away.

I mean, that's basically what my text conveyes. The thing is, today's modern world uses computer power and the internet in many ways. So people are expected to know their way around a computer and the web. So there is no point in trying to ban such a thing.
But there is a point in barring certain actions inside the internet to younger users, when they are most likely unable to understand the dangers behind it(which has almost nothing to do with smartness). Same thing happenes with alcohol or the lottery and it works reasonably well.
