SpeakCuba’s progression thread thing

Got a PB Ao100 for 2x2, finally breaking the sub-4 barrier. Current PB Ao100 is 3.99, old one was 4.09.
New PB Ao100 for 2x2, which is now 3.90.

For 3x3 I got PB Ao5, Ao12 and Ao100. Ao5 = 12.67, Ao12 = 13.18, and Ao100 = 14.72. I was pleasantly surprised; got a lot of 12 second solves in a row, and even though I've never tried before, I managed to x-cross in one of the solves.

New 2x2 PB Ao5, finally!

1. (4.61) R' F' R' F2 R' U F2 R2 U2
2. 2.59 U2 R2 U' R F2 R' F U' R2
3. 2.47 U' R2 U2 R' F' U2 F2 U' F'
4. (2.10) U2 F' U F' U2 F U2 R U
5. 2.85 R U' F R2 U' F' R' U F'

Also got a new PB Ao100 of 3.65. I didn't think I would get it down from 3.90 anytime soon.

I've done it, after a few days of nearly getting it, I got it, a sub-14 Ao100! It is currently at 13.98. (Does this mean that I'm technically a 13 second solver now?)

This is sad. Had a chance for my first sub-1 single...(4x4) got OLL parity, and then I *thought* that I got a PLL skip, only to find out that I had also gotten PLL parity, which I didn't do... so a 59.07 DNF single. :(

WOO! I did it, a sub-1 single! Just barely, but I got a 59.97 PB 4x4 single. If anyone wants to try out the scramble, I'll put it in a spoiler down below. White and yellow faces are both nearly completed. I started on yellow so I could preserve the white bars.

R2 B U2 L U B R2 U F' L2 U B2 U B2 U' F2 D' F2 U2 R2 Uw2 R' L' Rw2 F R' Uw2 B L Rw2 B' R2 F2 Uw' R2 F2 Uw' L Rw' U B Uw Rw' D2 L F

New 3x3 PB!! Very happy with the solution I did, although kind of simple. Here's the scramble; I got 9.36 on it.

Scramble: R' B' U' R2 B R2 U L' U2 R B2 L2 B2 D2 R D2 L' U2 R2

(If you want to solve on white, scramble with yellow top, green front)

I would encourage you guys to try out the scramble! I got a lucky PLL skip. (I use 2-look OLL, so if you use full OLL you might not get the skip).

Overall very happy with it, smooth turning and great lookahead made it one of my most enjoyable solves up to date.
