[Unofficial] Koma, the LBL god, is sub-17!

That is so so so crazy! Did he learn Fridrich and now does LBL for fun, or did he practise for years and years and does 1 look PLL?

It's also a demonstration that LBL is weak: 16.xx isn't fast by today's standards, yet that turning speed is ridiculous.

It looks like he does full OLL and PLL. Is he using a method other than Fridrich or are you just saying that the guy who is fast at LBL is now sub-17?

EDIT: I checked out his Youtube and can see he knows all PLLs and most of the OLLs. So I assume he does the first two layers beginner's style?

xD have to agree with pochmann on that one. wonder how fast he'll be with full f2l

Doesnt Erik have a video of LBL sub 20 also?

Yes but Erik knows F2L, has cubes for almost 4 years, and has 6 world records. I don't think you can really compare that.

yea i know that but what im saying is that he has a video of sub 20 LBL, i know he knows full F2L, but practicing LBL can be quite fun and thats what he did

May I ask what alg he uses for middle edge insertion? It's so fast I can't see it.

U R U' R' U' y L' U L

and for the last 4 moves (including the rotation) it can also be y' R' U R

I thought he used cubestation algs...

where could i find a goood LBL tutorial?
i dont know, but you can find the algs to solve the edges in the middle layer from cubestation,i use most of them

and my tips: do the corss and layer one corners on the left!

*shrug smiley if we had one*

Thank you, kind sir!

I am curious: Do any fast cubers use the R U R U R U' R' U' R' or is it considered a kindergarten alg?
