Treadmill cubing

How about the fastest 3x3-mile relay? So solve a 3x3 then run a mile or run a mile then solve a 3x3

I will see how good I could do probably tomorow

I think that I could get around 5:15-5:20

I'd do worse, but I'm working on it.

How about solving a cube while running a mile:eek:

Well, I personally think if you're going to do this, you should do it the following way:

Solve a cube, run a lap
Solve a cube, run a lap
Solve a cube, run a lap
Solve a cube, run a lap

The solving of the cube must take place between the Mile-Start line and the start of the lap, so that's about a 9 meter zone.

I think back when I was on the track team in college, I could have sub-6'ed this, but I never got around to trying it.

Inspiration is from http://www.beermile.com/

I would really love to do a solve while doing backflips in a row on a trampoline or something, but I'm not yet good enough at them to be that confident :(.

One day...

Here's something interesting to ponder:

Do high jumps while cubing...
Do gymnastics while cubing...

Perform kickboxing stunts while cubing...
Eat an entire meal, while running on a treadmill, and doing OH solves (10 of them before you finish your walking/eating).

hey, i just did that yesterday! and now i saw this thread....

anyone tried OH when doing dumbells? it actually have no effect on your time :p

Mile run + real man's average of 5
8:16 at the pace of about 70s per cube.
Today was too windy and I'm out of shape. :(
Sub-7 should be possible after some more practice...

70 seconds? You scrambled for 50 seconds each time? (And you ran a sub-3-minute mile? Unless you did them at the same time.)

Someone should do a real man's mile. You have to time scrambling and inspection too.
