Thanks! I just can't resist looking at the timer when I am aiming for something. I was actually only aiming for a low 8 single but then this came up :rolleyes:

Working on 4th solve...can't seem to figure out the cross (although I can tell it will be awesome for FMC)

Sorry, but your cross on the 4th and 5th solves are just too dang fast...could you see what kind of cross you did on the 5th solve?

Hmm I'm not sure if it's *that* lucky. The chances of running into an OLL case which requires at most 7 moves to solve is about 1/6 (without any EO control tricks). (http://www.cubefreak.net/speed/cfop/oll.php It's just 9 cases * (1/54) = 1/6). And the chances of getting a "good" PLL is roughly over 50% (A,A,U,U,H,Z,J,L,T,R,R)

I think it's probably more than likely for someone to receive such good LL combinations once in a while. It's always nice to know

Took me a long time to figure out the cross as well...I was like "what would I do in this situation?", but I still couldn't get it...

I feel so dumb now I didn't even see that U move in the beginning, which is what threw me off. Although, I found a couple differences looking at the video again. You did r R' U x' rather than R' L F in the cross, and it was U U, not U2 in OLL. That, plus a couple hundredths in the time, but it's very minor
