25.68sec.. is this considerd speedcuber?

PLL time attack, faster and lesser move F2L, look ahead. What else? All you need is practice everyday and every few days you'll realize your average will drop down by a second :D. That's how I am currently improving. For 2 and a half months that's already pretty good, like.. unbelievably good. Intriguing.

Just MHO: You're speed cuber when you can solve in under a minute. So you're deep into speed cuber territory as far as I'm concerned. Are you world class? Not yet, but you'd at least get into the finals of any contest you entered, which I think is quite an achievement, especially considering how long you have been at it. I've been cubing for way longer than you and I am WAY slower.

Brian.

you are a speedcuber when you're trying to improve your last time. so i've your time is 10 minutes, and for the next solve you're aiming for 9.45 minutes you are a speedcuber. it's all about wanting to solve faster then your last solve, wanting to improve.

^ Yeah, I guess you're right. I had been looking at the results of some smaller competitions like Stetson and Chattahoochee where 40s or 30s got you into the finals. Looks like at the higher end competitions, you have to be sub-20 to make it into the finals, obviously depending upon who attends.

Either way, a 26 is quite fast in my book.

So if i cube 350solves a day and pratice look ahead.. how many days do i will be sub 20??

(sorry for bad english)

there is no real equation to answer that

you can practice and not get better.

you can practice and get alot better.

i do about 300 solves a day and im still the same average.... kinda.

So if i cube 350solves a day and pratice look ahead.. how many days do i will be sub 20??

It really depends on how frequently you practice and how you're practicing.

Here's my history:

26-05-2007 5min
01-06-2007 1min20sec (6 days)
06-09-2007 40sec (97 days)
26-03-2008 30sec (202 days)
01-04-2008 26sec (6 days)

So:
- Getting 1 Minute solves takes little time
- Between 40sec and 30sec I learned about 3 PLLs and changed my LL method for solving
- Between 30sec and 26sec I just practiced every day
- I didn't practice that often during the 97 day and 202 day periods

It's difficult to project your solve times without having a bit of data or a LOT from everyone else...

Tim.
