Stickers/Tiles

So, my 4x4 Rubik's brand has been used a fair amount, bounced around in my backpack a bit...and so not surprisingly some stickers are starting to peel back. Money is not something I have at the moment...so two questions.
First: Should a sticker come completely off, would a dab of superglue or something similar work?
and second:
I've not been impressed with the Rubik's brand stickers. The stickers/tiles that cubesmith sells seem very reasonably priced...but will either last any longer than the rubik's stickers? I'm just trying to get the most for my money, I'm saving for a hearing aid that insurance won't cover

stickers or tiles from cubesmith will last a LOT longer than the original Rubik's stickers. The stickers from a storebought are made in 2 parts, a colored sticker, and a clear laminate. The laminate peels off very fast, and once it does, the sticker part will lose its color quickly. Cubesmith stickers (or tiles) are made in one piece, so they should last a lot longer.

i have tiles on all my cubes, dude they last as long as the cube. the only sideeffect is that very rarely is you get a corner of the tile under your nail and its a *****. But thats very rarely and it lasts for a very long time. not sure about stickers, but they are longer lasting than rubiks

Rubiks Cube stickers are laminated crap. They don't last me 2 days. Cubesmith tiles are nearly indestructible, and no matter what you do, their colors won't fade (like the sky wont be black) so cubesmith tiles are the best.

BTW, yeah I have like 3 tiles which had my nail buried in a corner. It's so frickin' bad for the tile and the flesh under your nail. ROFL.

Cubesmith all the way. Got both tiles and stickers, impressed with both.

What about the "skidproof" stickers of C4Y? i bought one set and it feels very thin, sort of like "tissue paper" feeling. I have yet to put them on a cube and see how it goes. Anyone have experience with it?

Yes i have, they look ok but there so mute and dull, i would just stick to CS stickers/tiles.

Rubiks DIY stickers aren't laminated and aren't crap. I have had them on 3 of mine for around 500-750 solves each with no problems to any of them. They are not as thick as cubesmith but they last if they are applied correctly.

TILES: I would love to get some tiles but I have very long fingernails on my right hand (and super short on the left -- see moniker) and I fear that I would get the under nail tile cuts on a regular basis.
