WTB: Shengshou 4x4 v3

I am looking for a Shengshou 4x4 v3. I have no preference on color. I would prefer one that has not been modded, as I'd like to do it myself. I would still be interested in a well-modded (Florian and Konsta mods) v3, but would like to see how it turns before purchasing (YouTube video would work). I'm only interested in cubes that are in good working condition, but sticker quality doesn't matter. Just no broken pieces or screws stripped beyond use. Average wear and tear from normal use is fine.

Payment will depend on quality of the cube, and whether it was modded or not. A new v4 costs ~$10, I'd be willing to pay more for a v3 in good condition considering they're no longer available. I'd be willing to pay even more for a well-modded v3 to compensate you for the time spent modding.

The cube shop for speedsolving.com (this website) has V3s

. I bought a 'v3' from Donner Buying on Amazon and they sent me a V4...just placed an order off this site for a V3.

I've bought a v3 from speedsolving.com's shop, it was a v4.

They recently updated the site. It originally was listed as v3.

If you're still interested, I've got an unmodded v3 lying around. One of the stickers is a little chipped, but other than that, it's practically new. I can provide pictures if you need, but I know it's not a v4; I've been out of the cubing loop for a while, and I didn't even know the v4 had come out until I read your post.

Hey.

I'm fairly new to speed cubing and I ordered a set of 3x3 4x4 and 5x5 shengshou cubes.
It did not state what what version it i thought it would be the newest one.
When it got here I noticed that the 4x4 locked up when moving inner layers so I took it apart to see that it was v3.
Should I be happy that it is a v3 because I'm prettied upset by it.

Unless you mod it those inner layer lock-ups will probably be there for 500+ solves. I'd be happy to buy it off of you if you don't like it.

Ok so I now have *4* Shengshou V4 4x4s due to incorrect online store listings etc. Does anyone have a V3 they are willing to sell? I will pay $30 for one at this point (hell I might pay that AND give you a v4 if you want

i can get a v3 from china. but it might cost quite a bit. not gonna give a price yet cos i have no idea how much its gonna cost. it not gonna be super dupa expensive. anyone interested? BTW it might take a few weeks before you get it. more if you live outside europe.
i also have a black shengshou 4x4 V3 which is my main. i florian modded it slightly, just the corner and centre edges. now it still lock up, but was much better than it was before mod. it can do U2, is quite fast except the occational lock up. i just got a V4 and i have to say its much better in term of lock up. willing to sell my own V3 if the price is right, cba modding it.

I have a response from a Chinese cuber. He has a crappy ss 4x4 v3 (he modded it really badly). I don't think anyone is interested, is there? And by really bad is that it pops, and lock ups are inveitable. He did a florian mod, and i think something like a konsta mod, but the cube just looks really bad, turning sucks.
