Every video made in Aachen are all welcome!

Let's start with the best solve of 2010 yet, Mats' 8.13:

More to come soon! Like 4x4 blindfolded WR (yeah, I know it's already uploaded), Ville's 47 ER and 49 blindfolded and István's 9/9 multi.

Yay Mats!
I remember being in the competitors area, and just hearing lots of applause and wondering what had happened :P

ps reconstruction time lucas!

9/9 multi by István:

Living on the razors edge, time was 59:39. Many of us almost got a heart attack. :)

Nice reaction, he definitely didn't say "lovely cubes" in hungarian. :P

I was the one who "whoo hooo"-ed at the end before he took off the blindfold. I was way too excited and at the moment I did it, I realized I could give him extra information, such a rookie mistake... Afterwards I asked him and he said he didn't hear it fortunately. :)

Themazing Ville's brand new WR:

I know there are already two threads about it, but more is better of this and this one includes memo and less camera shaking. :P (However someone changed the angle at the end...)

YEAHH, I found my solution,

cross: (x y) L U R F R D'(=D3) (8)
1st pair: U L' U2 L2 U L' (6)
2nd pair: (y) U2 R U R' (y) U R' U' R (8)
3th pair: U' L' U L (4)
4th pair: U L U2 L' (y') U L' U' L (8)
OLL: R U R' (y) R' F R U' R' F' R (10)
PLL: (U' U) (2)
46 moves = 5.66 tps

Themazing Ville's brand new WR
Truly Themazing.

I may be misreading it, but it looked very much like during the memorization phase he was being ultra-careful and actually double-checking everything before solving. I did something like that for my 22:00 5x5x5 BLD at US Nationals last year, so it really really slows me down to do that (it probably cost me 5 minutes on a 5x5x5). It looks like that's what he was doing. If I'm right, this solve certainly could have been at least a minute faster, just by his eliminating that double-check.

Like he said somewhere else, edges were *too* easy, So he memoed too quick and had to go over them again.

I'm glad to have judged both 4x4 WRs from Ville.

Wow, all of these videos are great. Wish I could've been there.

Congrats to all.
