I can't remember clearly, but there was a video on Youtube where a kid was unboxing his Cube4you order, uploaded 1-2 days ago. He bought Mini Dianshengs and that 50 mm Type C. And out of the green box that the Mini Type C comes in, the kid said that the Type C was better than the Mini Diansheng.

Hm. as for that 2x2 mod, anyway that the corner caps for an eastsheen would be good on the mini type C?

Sounds to me like you just described a normal Type C.
