ive heard some people say that black is better because you can recognize the colours better, but i don't have a white cube yet, so im wondering which cube is better. i heard that white is smoother and a bit faster, but still what do you guys think?

It's absolutely, positively, beyond any doubt, categorically, clearly, decidedly, doubtlessly, easily, explicitly, expressly, far and away, finally, indubitably, no ifs ands or buts about it, obviously, plainly, positively, specifically, surely, undeniably, unequivocally, unmistakably, unquestionably, without doubt, without fail, without question PERSONAL PREFERENCE.

I'd like to thank thesaurus.reference.com for that.

I have both and i really don't care they are both fine fine for me in recognizing the cubie colors and positions.

From what I understand older black pigments had a ill effect on performance, so when white ones became available people saw a difference. right now better pigments are used and there is no perceivable difference in performance. I personally prefer black, but Daniel is right that pink is the fastest. it's the exact point in the color spectrum of speed. it's indisputable, empirical science fact.
