CB is a Rubik's cube speedsolving method invented by Allen Milazzo and Joon Johnson. CB is based on Blockbuilding and Corners First methods. It is notable for its low move count, lack of rotations and adaptability to One-Handed Solving.
Steps
1. Make the corners of the cube on the bottom
Step 1 is referred to as CF (Corners First)
2. Insert 2 color matching edges into the first layer diagonally from each other.
3. Make a 2x2x2 Block where the 2 edges you just inserted are.
4a. Make another 2x2x2 Block on the other side of the cube (finishing first layer).
4b. Insert the other 2 edges into the second layer.
Steps 2, 3 and 4 are referred to as the Block Building
Pros
- Small amount of steps
- Number of moves
- Intuitive
Cons
- Need prior Rubik's cube knowledge
- Complicated
