UWR
From Speedsolving.com Wiki
UWR is an abbreviation for Unofficial World Record.
Before World Championship 2003 and the formation of the WCA, speedcubing.com's unofficial world record lists were considered the most important record list. Several unofficial record lists are still maintained for non-official events held at official competitions.
You may also hear use of this term for WCA events. When it is used, it is meant to signify that a World Record has been broken outside of a WCA competition.
