Also known as "Equator", Belt is a method which involves solving the middle layer first. It involves building a belt around the cube. The next step is to separate the pieces not include in the belt into their appropriate layers. (The Use of PLLs can help speed this process) Fix OLL parities- There is an EO and a CO parity. The easiest way is to use an ELL alg and The U'R'UR to fix these parities (this is still done intuitively) Next is OBL (orientation of both layers) this requires the knowledge of thousands of cases, however there are only 35 cases if you orient the edges first. The Next step Is PBL which has over 340 cases. However, this step can be done in two looks, requiring just 21 PLL's and the Permutation Parity (M2 U2 M2.

This method has little to no practicality, as it is hard to recognize cases, requires multiple distinct steps, and has a 200+ move count at normal scrambles. The speed of this method is around 300% of other popular methods i.e. Petrus, ZB, Roux, and Fridrich. In all, this method has no use.
