Hey, would you like to be an admin so that you can block? It's easier to delete and block at the same time, and I don't have to go track down who made the pages you deleted! Also, in case you didn't know, make sure to delete redirects if the spammer moves the spam page he made (say from the Talk page to an article). Macky (talk) 16:01, 10 July 2012 (EDT)

Yeah sure, I suppose it would make it easier (Although, finding a way to stop them would be easier still :b ). I assume a redirect is deleted in just the same way as a page? MaeLSTRoM (talk) 17:11, 10 July 2012 (EDT)
Done. Yeah, you just need to click on the "Redirected from X" link then delete that as usual. By the way, copy the whole conversation to the other person's Talk page to reply. Macky (talk) 23:42, 10 July 2012 (EDT)

Thanks

Thanks for clearing those spam bots. I've just installed this so it won't be an issue in the future, at least shouldn't be ;) Cheers! --PJK (talk) 07:03, 4 November 2014 (UTC)

Heh, No problem. For now how are you managing the whitelist? just had a look and there's a fair amount of users on there for now, and I don't really want to go blocking everyone, and manually selecting just 1 or 2 people will take longer than blocking 1/2 pages individually. The whitelist has 3 people on it by default here. Which list were you looking at? When I went into the BlockAndNuke special page, all the users that showed were spam from the past, so I went ahead and blocked all of those. In the future, we should be able to use this to mass block and delete users. However, I'm hoping I can prevent all the spam in the first place. Not sure how they're breaking through the questions now...--PJK (talk) 07:11, 5 November 2014 (UTC)
