Talk:2x2x2 Speedsolving Methods

From Speedsolving.com Wiki

Isn't the 3x3 like method the same thing as LBL? Or it's different because of first layer + CLL/COLL/CMLL? Well I think we should revise some stuff because it can get pretty confusing. Any ideas? Rubik's Cube Fan 20:38, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

Agree, it should be rewritten so it is only one layer + CLL = the Waterman method, as now it covers both the "3x3 like" and CLL. / Kenneth 22:49, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

CF

This article is in many senses the same as the one about CF. It must be possible to make the articles share the same material so it is not two descriptions of unequal quality describing the same thing (like Ortega).

A good idea is to place the descriptions of how to solve corners using Method X in a template and then include the template at both pages: then it will be editable from both pages and they will always have the same description of the method. At the CF page we simply expand the information and add the descriptions of how to do edges using method X after the template describing corners. // Kenneth 22:57, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

I think we should add more details on each method, or at least links to sites about each method so new people viewing the page can look more into each method. Pictures may also be nice.--PJK 22:29, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
