Snake Cube

From Speedsolving.com Wiki

The Snake Cube is a non-twisty puzzle that resembles a 3x3 cube, made of 27 individual cubies that are interlinked through stringing, often with an elastic thread like rubber.

The Snake Cube usually exists in 2 forms, namely the solved state (in the shape of a cube) and the scrambled state ( in the shape of a crooked line). The puzzle can be solved intuitively and no algorithms are required to do so.

The puzzle is commercially available in 2 sizes, the standard 1.6 inches(4.0cm) and 2.4 inches(6.0cm) in diameter. 4-layered versions of the puzzle are also available for sale across most E-commerce platforms.

The UWR/WB (Unofficial World Record/ World's Best) Single for speedsolving the Snake Cube was originally set by YouTube user Sascha Görtz, recording a result of 3.28 seconds.[1] He later improved his WB to an impressive sub-3 single, clocking in at an astonishing 2.93 seconds.[2]
