Robert Yau (commonly known as Rob Yau) is a British speedcuber. He invented the Yau method for the 4x4x4 cube, but the method also works on bigger NxNxN puzzles. Robert set a European record for 4x4 average of 44.21 in 2009. He has since improved and currently holds the UK national record for 4x4 single and average, with times of 26.48 and 33.27 respectively. He also holds national records for 6x6 and 7x7.
Robert holds the best records on hi-games for 3x3 and 4x4.
