Steps

1. 2x2x3

2. CPBRpair

3. COEO

4.LXSEPC

2x2x3

This step consists of building a 2x2x3 block on the left of the cube, the recommended approach is to make a 1x2x3 First Block followed by inserting the DF and DB edges.

CPBRpair

The back pair (usually the BR edge along with the DBR corner) is solved while permuting all of the corners, It uses 389 algorithms to reduce the corner permutation state to be solved.

COEO

The edges and the corners of the cube are oriented while keeping CP solved, using 671 algorithms to reduce every piece orientation to be solved.

LXSEPC

It is short for: Last extended slot edge permutation and solving corners relatively to the centers. Using 453 algorithms, this is the step that permutes the corners and the edges to their respective places in the cube.

Pros

  • Low movecount
  • Good ergonomics after 223 phase
  • 2/3 of the solve's movecount are algorithms

Cons

  • Large algorithm count
  • Difficult to recognize 2nd and 3rd steps
  • Requires knowledge of complex concepts like Corner Permutation and mid solve Edge Orientation
