Purpose(s):

Steps

1. 2x2x3

2. EOREdge (EO+FRBR)

3. TDR

4. ZBLL

2x2x3

This step consists of building a 2x2x3 block on the left of the cube, the recommended approach is to make a 1x2x3 First Block followed by inserting the DF and DB edges.

EOREdge

EOREdge is short for Edge Orientation Right E-slice edges, which uses one out of 719 algorithms to do, but for ease of learning it can be parted into 2 substeps: inserting a random oriented E slice edge in BR (can be either BR or FR edges in the BR slot), then applying one of 56 algorithms that solves the other E-slice edge while orienting the edges of the cube (EOLE) or it can be done intuitively if you know how edge orientation works, in the case of FR being in BR, you're supposed to apply an R2 move after the algorithm to solve the right E-slice edges.

TDR

This step was borrowed from Mehta method. Which is an algset containing 350 algorithms to solve the 1x1x3 bar in DR, resulting in a cube state of solved first two layers with oriented edges

ZBLL

This is the last step of the method where in one of 493 algorithms, the oriented edges last layer is solved, finishing the cube.

Pros

  • Very fast steps, possibly allowing the greatest lookahead any Petrus variant could dream of

Cons

  • High learning curve due to the amount of algorithms to learn.
