Information about the method

Proposed: 2025
Alt Names: 2LLS
Variants: none
No. Steps: 3
No. Algs: 162(excluding cll)
Avg Moves: 15
Purpose(s):

The MLS(Mixed last slot) method is an experimental method suggested by Reddit user bttyx. It is generally known that there is little point in this method as it most has more algorithms than eg while being only slightly more efficient than CLL and less efficient than 1LLS. It is recommended to use EG instead.

Steps

The MLS method consists of three steps:

  1. V: solving a V layer(not face)
  2. MLS: insert any of the last five corners into the last slot of the first layer, orientated.
  3. MLSCLL: solving the rest of the cube in one algorithm (162 algorithms(without cll))
