Duc Trinh

Duc Trinh was a Canadian speedcuber. In 1982 he won the Canadian Cubing Championship, and finished eighth in the World Championship.
In 1982 he was a 14-year-old student, living in Kitchener, Ontario. Like Minh Thai he had been a Vietnamese refugee.[1] The Canadian National Finals were held at the Ontario Science Centre, Toronto Ontario, on March 20, 1982. Duc Trinh won with a best time of 26 seconds.[2]
At the first World Rubik's Cube Championship 1982 in Budapest (5 June) he finished in eighth place with a best time (in round 2) of 26.63 seconds. David Singmaster reports that he used a Corners First method. He was the youngest competitor at the tournament.[3]
